Professor (Microbiology) in Department of Microbiology, Quaid-i-Azam University, Islamabad, Pakistan. Have more than 12 years of teaching and research experience in the field of Microbiology. Research interests are: Microbial Diversity, Extremophiles (e.g. Psychrophiles, Halophilic psychrophiles, magnetotactic, endoliths, oligotrophs), Microbial enzymes, Antibacterial compounds, Glaciology, Biospeleology, Astrobiology, Biodegradation of synthetic polymers.
